Russian Destroyer, St Petersburg 10/8/07

Another view of an unknown Russian destroyer (?) refitting in St Petersburg. Does anyone recognise her?

I understand that she is an Udaloy I Class Destroyer most likely attached to the Northern fleet at Severomorsk, built during the eighties or very early nineties at St Petersburg or Kaliningrad, 536ft long and c.8400 tons.

Certainly a Udaloy class but to me could be a 1st or 2nd batch, cannot tell.
L 163 B 19.3 draft 6.2 Displacement 6200 tons standard, 7900 tons full load
Combined gas turbine and gas turbine (CoGoG) propulsion in region of 120,000 SHP reputedly 35 knots.
Armament : two single 100mm guns, 4 30mm cannon, two Altair CIWS, two Quadruple SSN14 ASW missiles, Eight vertical launch SAN9 AA missiles.
Two quad sets of torped tubes for the 553mm ( 21.8") ASW torpedos
Two helicopters : not sure but most likely Helix 2K27 type, all in all not something to bump into on a dark night.
there were 12 ships in the first series : 1980 Udaloy,Vice-Admiral Kulakov 1982 Marshal Vasil'yevsky, Admiral Zakharov , 1983 Admiral Spiridonov, Admiral Tributs, 1985 Marshal Shaposhnikov, Severomorsk, 1987 Admiral Levchenko, Admiral Vinogradov, 1988 Admiral Kharlamov , 1990 Admiral Panteleyev. and three ships in the second series of which only Admiral Chabanenko was actually completed in 1995.
Not being an expert I will leave it to someone with more knowledge to ID the actual ship
