Renamed SAGACITAS in 2002.

A really excellent pic with good colour (Thumb)

She hung on in the Everard fleet much longer than the other Goole and Dunston built S- types. In fact I think she was only sold when Everard quit the dry cargo business, but UT (who bought the other Everard ships) didn't want her.

Thanks for the additional info Phil. She was a regular here, cement inwards and aggregate out. Heard her once referred to on the radio as Saga City - immediately thought of Reardon Smith - but the penny soon dropped. Regards, Alan.

Fred, This was a photo I had to get. Not often we get a tug arriving as deck cargo. This was also rather special tug as she was built in China and completed at the Damen Shipyard, in Gorinchem. Regards, Alan.

Hi Alan

Just commented on your Shorham photo about looking forword to seeing your photo's, and I have gone onto next page and wow a fantastic photo of the Sagacity it is first class. The colour is great.

I sailed on the old Sagacity in 66 or there about. is there a photo any were.
