This was before Cunard really improved VISTAFJORD's upper decks by adding balconies and two incredible two-story Penthouse Suites to her. She remains as one of my favorite cruiseships after sailing her in 1995 on a writing assignment. Glad she's still around with us. Wonder what will become of her older sister?

Whenever SAGAFJORD goes, a part of my heart will go with her! I had dreamed she would make budget cruises out of Florida some day.
I think we should start an international cause from both sides of the Atlantic, to purchace her and transform her into an operational monument to transatlantic history. Lets start a collection! She would be active 6 months out of the year, part of the time out of European ports, and part of the time out of NYC! I'm sure there'd be plenty of old-timers willing to volunteer some experienced skills back out at sea! Re-name her ATLANTIC SAGA! So how do we get started???
