Ooh, that'll bring back some bad Memories for the Marine Staff at Portland Port. She was a nightmare. I only did a couple of Harbour Jobs in Her that was enough. A couple of the Guys steamed her back from Malta from where She was bought, that's a story in it self £200,000. or there abouts. The Maltese were clapping rather loudly when She steamed out of Valletta!!!. Portland Port did finally get shot of Her a year or two ago also with very loud hand clapping.

Jenxy, Dalmation ( now Sandsfoot Castle). She is My son Andy's(Strawberry) tug. He is proud of Her and spends what ever time He is allowed with the rigours of Portland Port Routine to Chip and Paint and keep Her looking as Tiddly as He can. The Port has only three full time operatives to operate 3 tugs, Pilotboat and workboats day and night. So they don't get as much time for ships husbandry as they would like. Crewing is Casuals.

Don't recall any Tons going for disposal in 1994, Nurton however went to Selby for demolition in June 1995.
