She was built by Adams at Gourock in 1946, designed by W. McPherson Campbell A.M.I.N.A. for a Scottsih yachtsman, and was bought by Lt. Col. R.P. Langford Brooke in 1952.
He had A. Robertson at Sandbank rebuild her with teak planking and teak laid deck, the topsides being seamed and varnished. All deckwork such as deckhouse, skylghts, hatches etc were mahogany, mast silver spruce. She had a 48BHP Gleniffer engine.
