Now that is what I call a memorial,ecleare,great picture.

I believe that this MTB was used to supply Russian troops cut off when the Germans surrounded the port. They had nets strung across the port and this MTB used to hit them at speed and jump over them at night and deliver the supplies. There used to be another monument in the town of a tram which was caught in the crossfire and is nothing but a skeleton of framework completely covered in bullet holes.
Fascinating town, used to run there regularly on Halcyon Skies, Court Line, on charter to BP, running to Ravenna, in the early 70's.

Thanks for that info captainchris. Yes you are right, it was a very interesting town. Pity that I didn't see that Tram also.I thought it was a very good idea for using this old MTB rather than it lying rotting in a field or yard.
