never knew the Jappy Chappies worked that far from Japan!!!! used to see them in Fremantle for stores, fuel and bait for their longlines.

Remember laying 2-3 weeks in Los Palmos loading fish from a succession of Japanese trawlers in 1960 or thereabouts. They had a huge fleet fishing the west African coast.
