Not sure now Highlander,keeping a track of about 300,000 negs/slides was a chore back then,I think it may be at Southampton

Thanks for your response, aye that is a big job, trying to keep track of that amount of negs/slides, am sure you have quite a collection then.

Aye Highlander, credit where credit is due, her indoors has stood waiting for me on many a draughty and windy pier waiting for just another one!

This boat was Silver Chord KY 124, Whalsay,she was kept KY reg because there was another boat Silver Chord LK 179 (ex Dauntless) that was the boat that was WK 488.

This Silver Chord (KY 124) went to the lines at Faroe she also went to the Drift Net and in 1957 won the Prunier trophy, the first KY boat that ever did !! She was the last Anster boat that went to the East Anglian Herring fishing. She landed 212 1/3 cran and grosssed aboot £900....a fortune then no doubt. She shot 58 miles E 1/2 south o' the Corton light. Apparently it took the boys 13 hours to haul the gear back. She was a snapper at the lines as well.....Aye, a boat wi a lot of history she desrrves a bittie better than this.....

Glad to have that cleared up, I initially thought that she was ex-Dauntless, but the scroll and fairlead is different, see my posting of LK Silver Chord ex-Dauntless
