1st certainly looks like a standard C-3 type

The second ship is a Troop ship. Perhaps Dunera, or one of Bibbys?

I think Dunera is highly probable and certainly a Blu Flu job is third..which tho I dunno...may need to ger the experts in for that!!

Interesting looking stern disappearing in the left foreground, wouldn't surprise me a bit if one of you can't identify that too LOL

I think that of all of the pre-war built troopers, only Dunera had her two poop stove-pipe vents (galley exhausts?) close together near the centre line. Not entirely clear on my screen but they seem to follow this arrangement in the photo.

Dont think its a `P`` class bluey, two lifeboats midships one aft. P`s had 3 midships
More than likely early `A` class.

This is impressive work by all - well done and a great start to the investigation. In passing, can we also have the full details of the smallish vessel towards the bottom right ;)
