Bobby,

Are you sure of the name? Although not sharp on the vessel it looks a short word first then the long word?

Hi Bill, as far as i can remember that was her name,it was the early sixties at Dublin ship breakers, but the old memory might be wrong.
Regards Bobby.

Looking at the letters on the funnel, and the name, could this photo be "reversed"?

Notice the TV aerials of yesteryear, and folk today complain about wind turbines being an eyesore, and also not the first pic that Bobby has posted reversed, maybe an intentional prank to puzzle folk, or simply a mistake..

The image is reversed and the vessel is SLIEVE FOY of Carlingford Lough Commissioners (CLC on funnel). She was built by the Dublin Dockyard in 1910 (yn 72) and broken up in Dublin durong the 60s.
