We all know the old nonsense of "Dog Years" and "People Years" IE 1 people year equals 7 dog years so how does that equate to ships. I seems the average age of a ship is around 25 (ish) years, and given the average age of a human is somewhere around "3 Score and 10" that would equate to 2.8 rounded up to 3 times. So Quintero, built in 1973 against todays year of 2008 = 25 years = 75 years old in people years Which brings me to the obvious conclusion that I hope I look as good as she does when I am 75.
God I'm a sad bastard.
You can't get enough photos of "O'Boats".
Hi Quintero, which ones have you seen? Obviously Crystal and I would guess the other three were the Land, Flower and Drift?
Considering there were only 8 to start with, for 4 of them to reach into their 30's is testament to a good design. Do you have the pics in a higher res?
