Somewhat smaller landing stage than they're used to!

What's the latest on the permenant replacement? ANy word?

al mac: Not that I know of, it was still submerged yesterday, with no sign of any work having been started.

Ah i see, cheers for that. So is the temp landing stage just South of the original?

Shame to see it had sunk - had fond memories of taking my last ship into Liverpool last July.

That 'Spudjack' is located South of the original George's Landing Stage, just next to the Steam Packet's Prince's Landing Stage (which itself has a sunken section) There hasn't been any word of a permanent replacement yet but as the Spudjack was described as a 'Temporary' structure there must be plans for a new one. Just don't expect anything before next summer. I hope, however they have one ready for our city's 2008 celebrations. ;D

It's actually about 300 yards north of the original ferry landing stage.
