Sonata

Sonata

A Danish newspaper photo from probably the beginning of the 1960s.

Possibly a Norwegian ship.

Thank you very much, A.D. Frost.

SONATA could perhaps be consistent with what is visible of her name. The ship, I think, is from Norway - port of registry seems a short name - so perhaps Oslo.

Who was the owner of the ship, you suggested. I cannot find the ship ( built in 1962 ) or a picture of it on the internet.

With those funnel marks could she be a Yugoslavian ship?

Cancel the above.

She looks like the Norwegian ship Sonata belonging to Stove Shipping Oslo.

Thank you very much, Frank. I'm sure, you and A.D. Frost are right about this ship.

On the Norwegian shipping site Lardex, I've now found a photo of her - under Stove Rederi.

I'll edit the title and move the pcture to the cargo ships category.
