I thought the canvas "virginity screens" were a regular feature in the sixties - but I could be long it was a long time ago! My favourite liner of that time ( but biased) - one thing that cannot be questioned is that her design for a 1956 build (launched by the queen as a favour to SSA for use of the Gothic as a Royal Yacht) was way, way ahead of her time.

I agree 100% waiwera. Definitely ahead of her time. She and her 'sister' Northern Star were two of my favourite liners when I was a youngster, and this shot shows that she looked good from any angle.
