Nice photograph Phill. When I was a youngster my family lived at 10, Broad Street. My Grandfather and various Uncles also lived in the same street and in Bath Square - all boatbuilders. In those days everybody new everyone else - tough times but a hive of industry.

a lot of changes have gone on in this neck of the woods, what with the gunwharf keys and all the new builds, but i have to say , i have a soft spot for old Portsmouth, and the pubs there (many a nice pint had) one day i will book a night in one of the B + B's there,

Sure right Cambria, the still and west is a brilliant Pub, with excellent ales,,,,,can get a bit noisy with families during the summer months though , but well worth a visit, and probably the best pub in Portsmouth. 5 stars,
