Laid up in River Fal, Cornwall in 1971 along with two retired Cunarders "Carmania" and "Franconia"
"Southern Cross" sold to the Greeks and renamed "Calypso" and Cunarders sold to the Russians to become "Leonid Sobinov" and "Fedor Shalyapin" respectively (1973)
