First time I saw a photo of her under this name. Built by Crabtree & Co.Ltd; Great Yarmouth for R.& W. Paul Ltd; Ipswich in 1920 . 1945 - Sold to Ramsey SS Co. Ltd; Ramsey, IOM and renamed BEN VEEN in 1947. 1963 - Broken up at Passage West, Co. Cork by Haulbowline Ind;Ltd. Official no. 140103. 130'.0'' x 23'.2'' x9'.5'' . 309 gt. 127 nt. 47 hp. She is photoed wearing Ramsey SS Co. Ltd;s funnel so the date is between '45 and '47. Could the location be the north east corner of Peel harbour, some of the buildings seem to fit but not the building on left? Looks like the MARGARET LOCKINGTON of Dundalk astern Charley

She was sold to Ramsey in 1944 Charley, so yes the pic is between 1944-47. It does look like the MARGARET LOCKINGTON astern, but why would she be in Peel?

During the war she made some unusual voyages to small ports with one- off cargos. Assuming it is Peel it would have been a rare visit. The letters on the stern did seem to match untill just now I remembered and unearthed a shot of her from a similar angle and there is some slight differances. I will post it now so you can see. She is a similar ship with a similar length of name etc. Charley
