Used to sail on a weekly basis between Torshavn, Grimsby, Vlissingen in the Netherlands, Hundested and Alborg in Denmark, and back to Torshavn, sometimes calling a port in Norway on the way back. Her sister ship Star Viking also sailed this route.
Cargo carried southbound was mainly frozen and fresh fish, and general cargo, i.e. cement, vegetables, frozen food, timber and other building material back home to Torshavn. Sometimes other ports were called instead, e.g. Peterhead, Scrabster, Montrose, etc.
