She was the ex OSA Schoorturm, had a devastating fire on the Pacific side of Panama and was abandoned by the crew. A fishing vessel found her a couple of days late still afloat, still with her tow but burnt out above deck. Engine room was intact and they started her up and managed to get her into Panama. I spent a year as Master in her in East Coast Canada and for her power ( 9600 ) she could really pull but due to being an Icebreaker she was a complete cow in any beam sea.
