Seen at the Dordt in Steam Rally at Dordrecht in May 2010, the steamer SUCCES was not far from her birth place as was built by Huiskens, Dordrecht in 1897 as a tug under this name. (The hull was built by Boele, Slikkerveer.) Later she became the SLEIPNER. In 1957 she was sold to Rotterdam owners and rebuilt as a tank steaming vessel for use there being renamed SUCCES I. Withdrawn in 1973 she was initially sold for breaking up but was rescued and rebuilt as a typical 1900's Zuider Zee passenger steamer when her original name was restored. She has auxilary diesels for emergency use.
