My wife and I did a cruise on "Virgo" in October 2000 and we are going on her again in September. On our last cruise, the ship did not berth in Phuket but anchored some distance out and we were tendered ashore. The itinerary then also meant an 1830 arrival and a 0200 departure - different to say the least, so pleased that this time around we will be in port during daylight hours.
Great shot ContFan, of a lovely ship on which to cruise. I can highly recommend her.

Hi David,
Agree "Virgo" is a great ship. We enjoyed the cruise very much. The ship was in tip top condition. Phuket was a great day for us as we live in Thailand, way up in the north east. Visited Phuket only once before and did not really enjoy, but this time it was amazing. Took only a half day tour(4 hours) and had the rest of the day free to do what we wanted. Arrived Phuket 07.30am and left at 18.30pm, a nice full day.
She does some cruises from Singapore to Bangkok(Laem Chabang) during the year which we hope to do early next year.
Noticed your picture of "Virgo" when i joined. Great shot.
I have 2 more along side and some of her interior.
Should i post? and were to post the interior?.
Nice to hear from you,
Peter ( ContFan).
