Not my company and not my part of the world but hugely evocative and nostalgic of times gone by. Nice one Bill.

When launched the Tasmania Star together with her near sister Adelaide Star were the largest dry cargo ships in the world. Both were similar in design with seven holds and an enormous cargo capacity of 840,000 cubic feet of space.
When the Tasmania Star made her maiden voyage out to Australia from Liverpool in December 1950 her 18,000 ton cargo was one of the largest ever to leave the Mersey in one ship.
Her turbine machinery was also the most powerful installed by the builders, Cammell Laird and Co in a single screw ship.
