One of the ships laid down for Silver Line of London which never made it into the fleet. The 'Ulysses' was another one bought by Blue Funnel. India China Steam Nav.Co., Ltd got the 'Eastern Glory' the ex Silverholly, This was the old Silver Line's swan song and their next two ships were tankers then an endless stream of tramps after the Dene Shipping take over/amalgamation of the early fifties
