has it been fitted with a bow thruster Galleyboy, or are my tired eyes deceaving me?

Bow thruster fitted and thats about it,she's just been left for a couple of years now
hopefully the cover gets put back before winter

It was the owner who bought her from the RNLI that fitted the bow thrusters,think she is under another ownership now,a shame to see her lying there,had her in Thurso,a dream compared with the old Watson we had before.

I wouldn't have thought a bow thruster would have been needed on a boat as manouverable as this, though?

Latest update in the LBES newsletters about your old boat wully,she has been abandoned and is to be broken up,a sad end to a good sound Solent

(==D) Thanks for the info Galley Boy,That is a sad end for the old girl,i really don't undersatand people who buy things and then just leave the thing to wreck and ruin,then on the other hand there are people that would have given their right arm for a boat like that.

Was this boat modified to have a bigger enclosed wheelhouse etc to make her self righting in advance of the self righting boats?

No Jim,she was built as you see her in the picture except for the thrusters that the previous owner that bought her from the RNLI had fitted.The Watson class boat that we had in Thurso before the Solent class named Pentland she had her superstructure modified in advance of the selfrighting boats.
