Stan, thanks for posting. I would probably have been securing cargo on the Brocklebank at this time.
Cheers, John.

This area was marshland known as the Ponderosa.
Domestic rubbish from Victorian London was brought down river and dumped here.
Many old bottles and pots were found here.

Hi John,
And after taking this photo I probably visited Bardic Ferry.
Some of my pals from Empire Baltic 1950's were sailing in her.
Prosit,
Stan

Is that a Marchisseni vessel in between the B.I., job and the Brock?

Stan: I think CERDIC FERRY ran the TFS service to Antwerp during most of 1968. I have no record of the BARDIC in on it '68. Sailed to Antwerp on the CERDIC in July '68. Fantastic! Camera red-hot taking photos of ships in the Schelde and the steward bringing me a beer up on the top deck to keep me cool and all meals inclusive in the fare - even when the ship was running late and lunch-time came up before we had arrived.

Don't think it is a Marchisseni vsl which are more taller and giant like, looks more like an Indian ship, The Brock's could be the ' Maipura '

Judging by the height of the Funnel casing I think you are correct to suggest Maipura William .
