Are you sure this is taken at Hobart. I was on her in the mid 1970's and can't recall her going to Hobart - it looks like Bell Bay to me, but I stand to be corrected.

Cheers

Definately Hobart Waimea, I took the slide and she is at the old 'Empress berth' Princes 4 where the crane is still visible. It may have been around 1978 but I am not sure as the slides are not dated. Mount Nelson on the right and Drougthy point on the left.

Tassie,
I was a sales rep in Brisbane in the late 60's and sold a fair bit of Food Service equipment and Crockery and Tableware to be delivered to her and 2 others, the Brisbane T and Sydney T. They were built at the Evans Deakin shipyard at Kangaroo Point, which is now a very desirable, upmarket area of expensive apartments and townhouses, and a marina where the actual drydock used to be.
Whatever ever happened to them and when, do you know?
Regards
David D.
