TRELEVEN II

This 4 cylinder motor vessel was built by William Doxford and Sons Ltd. Sunderland and launched on 15 March 1949 for The Hain Steamship Co. Ltd.
In 1964 she was sold to Cambay Prince SS Co. Ltd., Hong Kong and renamed Sydney Breeze. She was sold to Global Navigation Ltd., Canada in 1970

I spent a great 6 months on her, great crew from all over the UK but 13 ports in the Gulf Mid Summer with no air con must have been hell for the boys in the Engine room it was bad enough for us in Port we did 6 to 12 it was to hot to do more she holds many happy memories for me. and I still talking to one of the crew from all those years ago (45) it's not long if you say it quickly.

She holds happy memories for me also. I was master of her when she was Sydney Breeze.
No ocean greyhound and a bit of a rough old tramp but a very happy ship with great memories.
