I was the Radio Officer on Trentbank from May to August 63, the trip before she was in collision off Alexandria and sank.
I joined in London, sailed next day, two year articles, but did a quick trip to the Pacific via Suez and home to Liverpool via Panama. Lovely ship, good crowd, master was cranky old B. however, he kept reminiscing about the war.
