That looks very 'Border boatish' to me Dave? ..... any family lineage there does anyone know?

No lineage I know of - the Border boats had no outside alleyways so it must be the angle of view that suggests a similarity.

I can see where you are coming from. She was built by Wm. Doxford in 1961 and at 18,685 dwt was a similar size to the all aft Border boats, three of which were also completed in 1961. I think all the Tyne built 19+,000 dwt Border vessels came from Swan, Hunter & Wigham, Richardson. She's a good looking ship in any event.

done 11 months in 1963''64 great job probaly was on her when photo taken or more likely in the brittish bar then to somebodys house for party ha ha
