Yes she is the SALISBURY of Laxey Towing Co (Stephen Carter) on one her barging trips. She was built in 1943 as TID 15 and motorised in 1964.

Could have been Alan, but a little bit out of area and may have been doing a contract tow.

I have a photo dated 10-02-85 showing Salisbury and Sudbrook together at No.1 Jetty, Abercorn Basin. This date was confirmed by Stephen Carter, but unfortunately I cannot find the photo, nor do I have copies of the correspondence. Anyone having access to 'TugTalk' could confirm the above.

Best wishes, Alan.

I have a photo of the "Port Lairge", registered Rosslare, in the basin, maybe this was the job.

Kenny, It could have been - I vaguely remember a small dredger built at New Ross and brought here for completion, either PORT LAIRGE or PORT LAIRGE II - did this then become Londonderry's MARY ANGUS? I think I have photos of her at the Ship Repair Quay and in the Thompson GD. Lets hope Gil can throw some light on the subject.

Yours, confused as ever, Alan.
