"Tynebank"
The lead ship is a class of six steamers built at Readhead's in South Shields for Bank Line between 1934 and 1940. This is a class of Bank Boat not generally remembered as only two survived the war into peace time, the "Tynebank" and the "Teviotbank". They were both gone by 1955 as the motorships of the "Beaverbank" Class entered the fleet.
