Taken late 1950's. Looks like one of the P and O Straths.

I would say, based on the plating ( ie Frd end of deck enclosed) on the deck below the boat deck ( prom deck?) and lack of same ( ie frd end open) on the deck below ( A deck?) that it is either Strathmore or Stratheden

I think it more likely to be the Stratheden for of the two Straths mentioned by Cisco, Stratheden had a far taller funnel than Strathmore which seems to be the case in the photo

Interesting photo John, got any idea where it was taken.
I think also that it is Eden

I really have no idea Ted. It is a small print I found amongst my cadet stuff when cleaning out. For some reason I have the feeling it was Ceylon!

THE PHOTO WAS TAKEN FROM NORTH MOLE AS SHE DEPARTED FROM FREMANTLE WESTERN AUSTRALIA. THE GIVE AWAY IS THE STEAM TUG YUNA AT HER STERN
