All my notes say is Greek flag seen arriving Rotterdam 1983, I.D'ed as MAYON

Resembles Philippine flag: MAYON (1980-1988, ex VILLE DE HAMBOURG 1970-1980).

Hi Peter,
She looks very similar of French ships VILLE DE HAMBOURG and VILLE DE ROTTERDAM (Cie Havraise Péninsulaire). In 1983, they had been renamed MAYON and PUERTO PRINCESA. The name on the bow is short and I think that she could be MAYON.

Hi,
would rather assume her to be Uruguayan flagged sister vessel TUYUTI with owner Gasmar,Montevideo. Mayon had different funnel colours. TUYUTI frequently traded to NW Europe while under Uruguayan ownership and used to have such funnel.
