That's Lake Winnipesaukee, New Hampshire and the steamboat is the 'Mount Washington'.
Built in 1872 for the Boston & Maine Railroad, she measured 187' x 49' and was powered by a vertical walking beam engine. A working boat, rather than an excursion steamer, she carried cargo as well as passengers on the Lake.
After 67 years, she burned to a total loss in 1939.
