I agree, this must have been taken in the very early days of photography, and the guy that took these,didn't used the best photopaper, this one was more a carton paper picture.

Ahoy Ray,
As you know, I do love my hobby, collecting vessels/details/info, these were given for free, as I bought[on a auction] about a 100 more commonly steamers/freighters/liners/tankers and coastal cargo ships, most of them company cards, the guy asked me to have a look at these oldies because he didn't knew anything about these, and said to keep them if I wanted them, he couldn't sell them without any discription.And because of these 100, there were a couple of piccies not confirm the described item, so I send these back, and got new ones and these as well an extra gift[bonus].So a very nice chap, and good business man, certainly will buy some more.He owns a collection of 17.000 old piccies!!!!!
