Wilhelmsen boat midstream, A Johnson vessel centre, Looks like a whale factory ship top left floating dock.
Plenty of shiprepair activity,.....interesting.
Cheers John.

Hi,
Gothenburg?
Small ferry(no HK Star ferry for sure) crossing Göta älv to the Shipyards and Hisinge Island?
One of Broströms small -G.Lakes ships- at the near dock.

I suspect that this photo is being shown in reverse. May be easier to identify other way round.

Oz is correct, it's reversed, Teop is correct too, it's Gothenburg.

Apologies for hic-cup, now corrected. The whale factory ship has now been moved to top right !
Sorry about the quality as it is a copy slide.

Could No1 be a Lauritzen or ice survey vessel ?

The name of the Wilhelmsen ship is obviously shorter than the name of her homeport Tonsberg - Tasco?

Thanks stein for suggestion. There were three sisters; TASCO + TEXAS + TOPEKA.The enlargement seems to fit your vessel ; TASCO with your blessing it sounds a safe bet.(Thumb)

Johnson's had three sisters which fit No3 ie...AXEL JOHNSON + ANNIE JOHNSON + MARGARET JOHNSON. However No 3 seems to show KP's
aft of the superstructure which Merchant Ships 1959 does not show ?.
Did one of these three have KPs at this position ?

Hi,
the Broströmship looks like m/s Ryholm1951-56.Name changed -58=Carlsholm.
Or m/s Borgholm same data, both built-51 at Ö.V.Yard Landskrona Sw.
They were lengthend 1960 and sold 1967.
KP=?,
brain is in slow mode just now-I hope.

Yes indeed it is the RYHOLM. I have rescanned the shadow and the last 5 letters are; *YHOLM. Well done and thanks .(Thumb)
It also dates the slide 1951-1957.
