Looks to be an open-hatch bulker of Star Shipping. Most of their vessels had/have the name prefix "Star" followed by another word, but this name appears to consist of just one word, though the first four letters could still be "Star".

Surely Star Shipping could be STAR LANAO?

I don't think so tanker. The name reads very like STAROSETO, but I can find no ship ever having that that name, or anything like it.

Hi,
I look at pictures of this vessel class (except STAR PINEWOOD I didn't find) and only IRISH STARDUST, IRISH STAR, STARWORTH, STAR ALADIA, STAR ASSYRIA, STAR ATLANTIC and TARANGER had gantry like a 'U' but on one side. The other had gantry like 'U' upside down.

Thanks Phil.Gp and Yvon.(Thumb) Some serious study done there Yvon !.
STARWORTH would fit the number of letters. and if it is the only one with no gap between STAR and the suffix.it could be the one.I will try to find a photo of STARWORTH.

ps..Maybe the last letter is obscured. and it
could be STAR*S*TO* ?

It has the look of one of Rasmussens old "Poly" series but with retro fitted Deck equipment.

She was owned by RS Dalgliesh of Newcastle, so I imagine that someone here on SN must know her pretty well.
