There are seven ships on this photo !!!!
Ship number seven alongside the Johan Hjort is the Icelandic FRV/FPV Maria Julia as Iceland didnt have a proper FRV in 1960.
Icelands first purpose built FRV the Arni Fridriksson was built in Lowestoft by Broke Marine in 1967.
The assembly of alll these FRV in the Faroes at this time was because they had all been out to do a combined assesment survey of the North Atlantic Herring stock.
The Russian FRV Persey are not on this photo but did participate in the survey.

I have just upploaded a new version of the photo.
Maybe their are eight. I have thought about MARIA JULIA. But she did not have a crow's nest in the foremast. Instead a relative big gun on the forecastle. I think MARIA JULIA is the one far right, in front of JOHAN HJORT. Just the stern seen. And the one alongside JOHAN HJORT is either TEISTEN or SKARVEN.
