Cheers for that I knew she'd been working away from EU waters just couldn't remember where she ended up. Namibia's got a bigger "big boat fleet" than we've got now !!!

Davie,
she worked up in Greenland for a while catching shrimps before she went to Namibia. While in Namibia the target species was Hake. Fished strong in all areas, not much "big" trawlers left and if the rumours of Sunbeam (LK) being sold are true that leaves only a couple.

I've got a photo ( can't remember what site it was on ) on my PC of her up on the slip at Buckie brand new and she's a BIG lump of a boat.

At least she has escaped the fate of the bulk of the fleet at the hands of the oxy-acetalene cutting torch.

Lads, Are you not sure it was the Mizpah BF 777 that you saw on the slip at Buckie,i doubt if the Victory was on the slip at Buckie, the Mizpah i think was the biggest on there,i remember when she was launched after getting fitted out the rails that the carriage runs on got damaged with the weight of her, that was 1994.
