Was she blown ashore in a cyclone or something similar?

Typhoon Wanda has a lot to answer for. This would have been 1 September 1962 when Wanda put a number of ships ashore. John Feltham has posted photos of others that came to grief the same day.

Yes, my records say she was driven aground by Wanda on 1 Sep 1962, was sold to local breakers in Jan. 1963 and broken up where she lay.
