May-2013 Royal Caribbean International has announced the 138,000gt Voyager of the Seas will undergo a multimillion-dollar bow-to-stern revitalisation before being deployed in Australia for the 2014/15 Southern Hemisphere summer season. Dec. 1-2014 Voyager of the Seas has completed a month-long $80m revitalisation programme at the ship repair facility in Sembawang Shipyard, a subsidiary of Sembcorp Marine.

Voyager of the Seas now provides the FlowRider surf simulator and Virtual Balcony inside staterooms.In addition, the ship will offer a 3D cinema, digital signage, a new Diamond Club for Crown and Anchor Society members along with new dining options, including Izumi Japanese cuisine, Giovanni's Table Italian trattoria and Chops Grille.
