Great port. Loaded salt and from memory, there was two pubs in the town. If the waggon came on a little to quickly they went over the end of the wharf.

Sid was master - but later in life after he retired from Air New Zealand where he became one of their senior pilots . The times I loaded in Edithburgh we had usually loaded Gypsum at Stenhouse Bay then salt at Edithburgh topped off with CKD & general at Adelaide .
