Walkerdale BF 107

Funny you should post this. It's a grand image right enough, kind of makes you want to do something with it...

I believe this is the WALKERDALE (BF107).
1911: Completed by Mackie & Thomson Ltd, Govan (Yd.No.415) for John Walker, Portgordan (managing owner) as Walkerdale (BCK84). 12.1914: Requisitioned for war service as a boom defence vessel. Based at Scapa Flow. 1919: Returned (to Alex Hendry, Cliff Terrace, Buckie). 1919: Sold to A. Addison & Others, Cullen. 10.6.1919: Registered at Banff (BF107).

Yes your correct Gil, my father had a look at it and he says its the Walkerdale. Thanks for the info on her.

Beautiful photo and funnily enough, I'm sure I have seen a painting of the exact same scene.
Wonder where i saw it and who painted it....any ideas Rob, lol.
