Dave,

Thats a right bonny photo of Cyril's boat going through the canal.when was that taken any ideas??

crackin photo Dave where did you get that one its the first time I have seen it It would have been taken 1969 after I bought her from Robert Clark The whaleback was put on in 1970 I sold her 1975 to Fyfe Maclennan and it was after that the gutting shelter was put on

Was that a Sooth Firth thing the galley door on the port side Cyril?. I might be wrong but I think all the boats I was on had the galley door on the starboard side!!!.

George the galley door was on the starbord side I think that was a small store space for Gas Bottles I will have to ask our Slater
We would have been steaming up to the Caledonian Canal after overhaul making for Oban

I thought there must be something else Cyril. The starboard door must be hidden by the block and the angle of the photo.

If you look just behind the block you can make just make out the door, starboard side of the block.
