Built as the Planet LK 365 for Willie Anderson,Whalsay, unfortunatly she never came oot o yon, some of her machinery was taken off, then she was towed aff by the Adonis and sank. Sad end for a fine boat.

They wound up and drifted on to the rocks in a North Westerly, lucky to get out of it alive, after that the boat was cleaned out.The boat ran aground in the early hours of a Monday morning,I was at her on the Tuesday afternoon, and she had been stripped bare, even the very wiring had been hauled out of the wheelhouse roof.

it was about a half a mile north of the culswick broch an it would have been the mid ninteys... looks like a wrecking crew aboard.... as winner said the adonis towed her off and she sank but she sank on some salmon cage anchors that were there, so she had to be moved again a diving outfit lifted her and shifted her in the voe a bit, then put her onthe bottom again. they salvaged her engine and a few other bits including the cabin heater, which i got and put in my first boat.
