Did voyages One and Two on this ship. Quite advanced for her age with all hydraulic hatch covers both on top and all twin decks. Still had all timber decks and even air conditioning! No need to sleep on deck in the tropics! The Stulken derrick was a bit of a luxury and the deck cranes a novelty (Union purchase with trained winchmen still a lot quicker)......... Had to always ask the Captian before the OOW could switch on the radar" Still considered by him to be a new fangled gatchet!!

What a fantastic shot of a good-looking vessel. Bet some wicked parties were had on her whilst running down aussie and Kiwi?

Good looking ship. Not sure I'd fancy changing her mainmast or 'Christmas tree' lights though!
