Scorcher - I think that is Amsterdam , maybe rotterdam but I'll plump for Amsterdam. Going by the shore cranes and the harbour vtours boat Do you know what the "Fort" job is astern of the Dutchman?

Hi Stumps Thanks for comments ! I have scanned name but the rust makes the name unreadable. Are they Livanos funnel markings?

Scorcher - My pleasure . That "Fort" could well be one of the Livanos or Livanos related companies. There were so many off-shoots that it is very difficult to say. Even under the trusty old magnifying glass , (super strength) it is indistinct .Sorry.

Some do remain mysteries but at least we think we have the type and company?
That deserves a beer I reckon.

I, too, thought it looked like a Livanos funnel but, on the other hand, I don't associate Livanos with old rust-buckets like that one appears to be. But then I am very young and don't remember seeing Livanos Forts/Parks!!!

Bob - That looks like a shipyard so the "Fort" job could well be having a "Shampoo and shave" . Could be Amsterdam Dry Docks .

It looks an impossible task but with the curiosity of Stumps and Bobs I have uploaded an enlargement.Some suggestions as to letters;
