Ireland to Aberdeen 1920's
Does anyone know of any vessels that sailed regularly between Ireland and Aberdeen in the 1920's? I am doing some family research and following a few very loose leads. The vessels may have had a few stops but I believe the origin was Ireland and it stopped regularly in Aberdeen. Or any ideas of likely trade between the two in the 1920's. Thanks

Hi philuren. I have never seen or heard any local shipping company running between Aberdeen and Ireland. There was a company called M Langlands & Sons
which it would appear ran a fleet of coasters round the British Isles. They was merged with Coast Line in the 1920's.
There is a book published about 2015 which may contain information on trade routes. Coast Lines Key Ancestors M Langlands & Sons.

Attachment from Aberdeen Post Office Directory 1902.
