MV Willowbank had West Indian crew, the motormen were fine and I recall they discovered the whereabouts of the Jamaican Stowaways (in the tunnel)!!
I also recall the MV Crestbank alongside in Jeddah...

Well going through eng ranks starting as a cadet...

Well going through eng ranks starting as a cadet I never manually cleaned the plates etc of a purifier it was always the ‘crews job’.
So maybe it was the engineer being slightly vindictive...

Yep had a few trips on the Roachbank and other ‘fish’ boats did a trip on the Crestbank as 3E remember the Blackstone Alternators ( only 2 ships in fleet had these)
