I was at sea at about the same time 1957-1962, on a lot of the ships you mentioned. My first was the 'MV Piri .shipped mainly out of Dunedin.

I joined the 'Waipori' at Dunedin in August 61' but only lasted 7 days and for some reason paid off in Lyttetlon, can't remember too much I thinlk Capt. Richards was the Old Man then.

Hi, I remenber, as a boy, seeing the 'Maplebank' in Dunedin NZ. probably late 40's, also if I remember rightly the'Brockle Bank' was there at some stage.
